We are a young, future-oriented company based in Berlin. Since the foundation in October 2002 MEDNOVO was able to securely establish himself onto the market within just a couple of years and now counts 170 customers, companies and hospitals at home and abroad (as of September 2011).

Starting with our product MediColor for medical documentation in 2002, the product MediAnes was developed in 2005, followed by Nemesys and DocuMedis as a complementing module to MediColor in 2006. We subsequently realised that there is a huge increase in the importance of medical engineering and information technology interplaying together.

The development of our second pillar: concentrating on the entire integration of IT and medical engineering in hospitals and private practices.

Starting business at home, our activities have also been beyond German borders since 2005. With the help of distribution partners we have been able to realise projects in Austria, the Netherlands, Italy, France and in the Arabian region. We do not only rely on our own engagement but also on a strong cooperation with partners from medical engineering as well as hospital software such as hospital information systems (HIS) and archive systems. 

Cooperation based on partnership, being of interest for us and companies in medical engineering, is very important for us. With the help of a customisable HL7 interface, we are able to integrate a wide range of medical devices into our software MediColor and therefore into hospital information systems (HIS).

Among others thanks to extending our product line by our HL7 BlackBox, we have been able to win a number of reputable manufacturers of medical engineering as customers and partners since 2007.

MEDNOVO looks back on a successful development within the last few years.

In order to satisfy the growing customer base, the number of employees has also constantly grown and will be increased in the future. We strategically pursue the strengthening of the previous market segment and conscious niche occupation.  Instead of product diversification, we focus on intensifying cooperation and avoiding competition with existing and potential partners in their key and activity areas.

Due to existing partnerships and resulting profits, we continue trusting in cooperation and the development of potentially new partnerships.

Furthermore it is our aim to be successful in integrating IT and medical engineering – in Germany and abroad!
