MEDNOVO gaines the request of proposal for the hospitals „DRK Krankenhäuser Chemnitz-Rabenstein und Lichtenstein“
The demands were high on the proposed documentation system. It was required to connect a number of medical devices from different manufacturers such as sonography and echo sonography devices, endoscope workplaces, ECG and 24h ECG devices and long-term blood pressure recorders.
The decision in favour for MediColor as documentation system was based on the essential factor that the hospital intented to have only one documentation system for the whole documentation in the hospitals.
Dipl.-Ing. Ulrich Wieland, leader of biomedical sciences/ IT department of DRK Klinikservicegesellschaft Sachsen mbH, Chemnitz says: “The intention to have a unique system for the whole documentation in our hospitals is exactly met by MediColor. In addition, the system covers all detailed requests of our medical stuff at all. Moreover the price-performance ratio of MEDNOVO was the best among all bidders. At least, we set value on an interface configuration to be flexible between the documentation system and our HIS (iSOFT)–that were three important factors for the decision in favour for MediColor. After a 2 month long intensive test implementation of the systems we are now looking forward for further close communication with MEDNOVO.”
Michael Heinlein, manager MEDNOVO: “I am pleased that we could gain the hospitals DRK Krankenhäuser Chemnitz-Rabenstein und Lichtenstein by MediColor. The positive progress of the test implementation approves the performance of MediColor in usage. So we confidently look forward to the further communication.”
On May, 5th 2007 the system was set active.
