Experience report of the welfare and social work hospitals in Rotenburg – speech at 10. user forum „Digitales Bildmanagement 2007“ organised by ProKlinik

In front of an interested audience Mrs Aringer presented the installed systems MediColor and MediHelis at the welfare and social work hospitals in Rotenburg (Wümme).

On June, 12th, the user forum „Digitales Bildmanagement“ in Cologne started and in this year it celebrated its 10th birthday. Congratulations from MEDNOVO!
On this day, diverse experiences and solutions of hospital-used software systems were presented by hospital speakers. The main topics were radiology, endoscopies, cardiology, ECG and sonography. The spotlight was focused on the allocation of information out of diagnosis, picture-given proceedings as further medical devices to EPR, and in the end, integrate that into work flow of the hospital.

To this topic Mrs Aringer, leader IT-department at “Diakoniekrankenhaus Rotenburg (Wümme)”, had a speech. Her speech was carefully listened by the attended doctors, students and hospital consultants. Besides of positive experiences by using MediColor and MediHelis in the area of RIS/PACS she exposed the possibility that the systems can connect to the other wards, too.

This presentation of usage of MediColor in the welfare and social work hospital clarifies the universal application of our system in the entire hospital.
After the speech the audience took the advantage to get presented a live demonstration of MediColor. Our colleagues, Alex Valcea and Udo Rohwedel, showed the functionality of MediColor and its expert systems.
