A success for MEDNOVO

the archive days in Rotenburg!

In the midth of June in the hospital Diakoniekrankenhaus Rotenburg (Wümme) gGmbH took place the archive days organized by the GMDS (German Association for Medical Informatics, Medical Biometry and Epidemiology) archiving workgroup. The two days program included an extensive symposium at which the main topic was the storage of non-electronic and electronic data in the hospital. Besides this symposium it was organized a hospital guided tour for all interested participants out of manufacture and health industry. At different stations during the guided tour you were presented work places with its implemented systems. The aim of this demonstration was to give an insight view to the practice and usage of the implemented systems the way actual users would use them in real, daily situations. The installed system MediColor by MEDNOVO was presented, too.
You could see the functionalities of the HL7 gatewayby the following example: a model patient was documentated on the basis of an endoscopy examination. In addition to that some prospective functionalities would have been discussed such as the implementation of the DICOM server and upgrading the system MediColor itself. Our colleague Hajo Tanck, sales representative north and responsable account manager for the hospital comments afterwards:

„The hospital presentation tour was followed by interesting conversations with participants out of manufacture and hospital area and yet we could make some concrete projects and many interesting contacts. We are pleased by this interest in our system and, of course, we are delightet by this great success and interest in this event.“
