The project parties of the 5 “IT key topics” met at this year’s summer camp of the Entscheiderfabrik in order to discuss the status quo and continue advancing each project.

On May 17, 2011 users from the medical engineering, IT and medicine sector and industry partners met for the second time already in order to exchange information on existing and on future challenges concerning ”IT meets medical engineering“.

With its topic „IT meets medical engineering – effective and integrated process optimisation“, MEDNOVO was voted by an expert jury as one of the 5 IT key topics in the health sector for 2010

Within the „Entscheiderfabrik“ on 10th and 11th February 2010, MEDNOVO’s topic of proofing effectiveness by the integration of IT and medical engineering was voted as one of the IT key topics out of numerous presentations.

Almost 170 participants, consisting of consultants, industry and hospitals, selected in three ballots 5 IT key topics out of various presentations.

Until the Medica, these voted topics will be developed by each working group in a solution-oriented way and implemented as well as tested in the participating hospital.

Within the Sommercamp in June, there will be an intensive exchange of first mutual results. Final results will be presented at the Medica.

The group of the topic „IT meets medical engineering – process optimisation in medical documentation“, presented by MEDNOVO, is made up of as follows:
