On May 17, 2011 users from the medical engineering, IT and medicine sector and industry partners met for the second time already in order to exchange information on existing and on future challenges concerning ”IT meets medical engineering“.

The first MEDNOVO “User Day”: a successful kick-off event

MEDNOVO GmbH successfully started its first “User Day” with a lot fun and conversations.

On July 1, 2010, software users and MEDNOVO staff met on company premises to exchange ideas about the status quo as well as future developments in the health care sector. There was a mixed and therefore constructive constellation of users, IT personnel, medical engineers and manufacturers, which laid an ideal foundation for a long-term user forum.

Users were able to discuss with colleagues and MEDNOVO staff face to face about the developments they see in the health care sector, what clinics need now and in the future and what MEDNOVO can contribute to it.

MEDNOVO also gave an insight into their current and future product strategy, so that the users could comment directly on additions and priorities.

The evening was finished off with a cosy, rustic barbecue in MEDNOVO’s garden.

To sum up:

Thanks to the day’s success and the users’ positive response, plans for the next “User Day” in the 1st quarter of 2011 have already started.

The guests’ suggestion to organise such a day at a reference house, in order to become active on a regional level, is also included into the planning.

MEDNOVO is looking forward to a lot of future “User Days” with its clients!
