On May 17, 2011 users from the medical engineering, IT and medicine sector and industry partners met for the second time already in order to exchange information on existing and on future challenges concerning ”IT meets medical engineering“.

MEDNOVO attended the project meeting at the Entscheiderfabrik’s summer camp, June 13-14, 2011

The project parties of the 5 “IT key topics” met at this year’s summer camp of the Entscheiderfabrik in order to discuss the status quo and continue advancing each project.

“IT meets medical engineering – fever chart meets HIS“, the team of MEDNOVO focussed working on this project, which has been voted 3rd rank out of 13 submitted topics.

The project group consisting of representatives of Schleswig Holstein’s university clinic, the business consultancy Synagon and the team of MEDNOVO has already been working on this interesting and comprehensive topic since it has been voted at the kick-off meeting in February. “The two-day summer camp provides excellent conditions to intensively discuss the project with all parties involved as well as the possibility to exchange information and ideas together with the other groups”, says Stephan Blažek, Sales Manager D-A-CH with MEDNOVO. Special thanks go to the organisers of the Entscheiderfabrik.

It has been specified which data of the fever chart will be displayed in general and which data can be directly integrated into the system within the project. For the next months we will seek ways how to integrate these data into mobile documentation and communication of measured data. The results of each project are to be presented at the Medica 2011. But all parties agree that there is still a lot to be done until then.
