Until now MediColor-Nemesys is an absolute novelty in its function and its applicability in neurology: MediColor-Nemesys runs as a client-server-application on a database and by the digital connection to neurological medical devices makes it possible for the first time to work on several different, networked workplaces and allows for a simplification and standardization of the findings documentation in the area of clinical neurophysiology.

MediColor-Nemesys provides findings modules for the following neurodiagnostical examination methods:

• electroencephalography EEG
• electromyography EMG
• evoked potentials EP (VEP, SEP, AEP, MEP)
• transcranial magnet stimulation TMS
• Doppler/duplex sonography
• EEG monitoring

NEMESYS was certified by the German Society for Clinical Neurophysiology and Functional Imaging (Deutsche Gesellschaft für klinische Neurophysiologie und funktionelle Bildgebung, DGKN). The extent of documentation as well as structure and classification of the findings modules were developed in arrangement with the DGKN and geared to international documentation standards.
MediColor-Nemesys makes a fast and efficient documentation of medical findings possible. By digital connections of the system with medical devices, HIS, archive/EHR and PACS of the hospital all relevant data of an examination can be combined in one document. To this end, classified and structured finding forms according to DGKN standards are available as a draft. If necessary, they can be individually adapted. In MediColor-Nemesys the data are at any users' disposal at different workplaces. MediColor-Nemesys can be adapted in different versions for the physicians and assistant medical technicians so that it is tailored to the work flow of the respective workplaces.

MediColor-Nemesys ensures a complete documentation of all relevant data in one application and fulfils the requirements of quality control and quality assurance.

The built-in user administration within MediColor-Nemesys permits the system administrators to set up password protected user accesses for various users and to assign different privileges in individual examination fields (examining physician, physician interpreting the medical findings, supervisor) so that the function possibilities are restricted.
When generating the medical findings, for instance, the approval of the supervisor of the respective function area is required. If medical findings have been supervised once, they can only conditionally be modified afterwards. This ensures the integrity of the findings. After each modification a new supervision must be carried out.
