Examination forms and documentation tools of MDS MediColor:

MDS MediColor offers individual examination forms for every discipline / examination including all fields and features only relevant for this type of examination.

These forms can easily be customised according to the requirements of each individual clinic / department.

There are 6 possibilities available for structured documentation:

• free text entries
• pre-findings
• data templates
• text modules
• text assistant
• voice recognition

Depending on the type of examination, use case and individual preferences, you can choose where you would like to use which documentation tool. A combination of different tools is also possible.

Image, video and measurement data integrated from medical devices can be visualised individually and edited for visualisation purposes. Among other things the following features are available:

• MediColor DICOM Viewer (for a comparison of up to four images / videos / DICOM objects from current and preliminary examinations)
• Image editing tool MediPaint
• Video recording and video cut
• DICOM Import (for subsequently mapping DICOM objects, e.g. in case of unexpected examinations or emergencies)

MediColor offers the so-called washer‘s protocol for endoscopy departments, that records who cleaned which devices with which machines and when. Washing machines with relevant interfaces can directly be connected. The devices including their hygiene status are at your disposal in the examination form. 

Several possibilities of searching tools and statistics / data analysis support clinical controlling:

The quick evaluation tool is intended for a rapid generation of simple statistical evaluations. In consideration of basic criteria (such as period of time, type of examination, main examiner, ward) these can be created very quickly. This facilitates, for instance, to prove how many examinations have been performed within a certain period of time. Results are received in form of a bar chart. In addition, a tabular listing of the examinations according to the search criteria is available.Diagrams created can easily be copied to the clipboard. Examination listings can be saved as an Excel file.

The data analysis offers a wide range of evaluation possibilities based on Pivot tables. It is possible to analyse and clearly visualise a large amount of data. As it is possible to access all database fields, detailed analyses can also be prepared. Templates for common data analyses are already implemented in MediColor. Every newly created analysis can be saved as a template and its results can be exported to Excel, if required.
